This article presents a contextualization and reflection of the socioeconomic changes
in the locality of San Sebastian de Palmitas (Medellin) since the construction of this megaproject. This research relies on the supposition that infrastructure works change the everyday life and living styles of the inhabitants that surround its area of influence.
