This paper presents some experiences that have served as the basis to the schools of the Regional Music Plan of Antioquia. It puts such experiences in dialogue and analyses the results of a research project on the components and characteristics of their administration, considering three central principles: the organizational-managerial, the formative-artistic and that of the interaction with the environment. In this way, the article suggests some guidelines for future projects on a topic that only recently started to be an object of study in our academic environment.
