From a research with a sociolinguistic approach on the linguistic representations and practices of Honduran Garifuna youth in correlation with their migratory journeys, we will question ourselves on the definition of a participatory methodol- ogy that mobilizes experiential, theoretical and creative knowledge of the actors (Bedessem, 2020; Chamoreau, 2015). The correlation and reflexive analysis of linguistic portraits, sensitive cartographies and the production of autobiographical short films, specifically of three young Honduran Garifuna from the community of Triunfo de la Cruz, leads us to elaborate a research epistemology based on the co-creation of knowledge between the researcher and the speakers (Leyva Solano, 2018).
