Abstract

Due to the various spaces of power where preventive archeology is practiced in contemporary Colombian society, there is a space for analysis of the tensions generated from competing interests of private companies and officials that intervene in the national territory and in the archaeological heritage, the academy as a producer of subjects trained to market demands for skilled workforce in archeology and as the producer of a body of knowledge in the field and in local communities in their territorial forming processes.
