El Grupo de Estudios Lingüísticos Regionales, GELIR, de la Facultad de Comu-nicaciones de la Universidad de Antioquia realizó durante los días 23, 24 y 25 de noviembre de 2016, la segunda versión del Congreso Internacional de Investigación Lingüística, con el interés de conocer los resultados de las más recientes investigaciones en el área. En el evento participaron cerca de 150 personas entre investigadores, profesores y estudiantes de pregrado, maestría y doctorado de Colombia, y de varios países de América y Europa.
