El número 83 de Lingüística y Literatura reúne una variedad de artículos de investigación relacionados con los dos campos disciplinares, desde contextos regionales y temporales diversos. Abrimos la edición con un dossier dedicado al tema del estudio de la prosodia en el ámbito latinoamericano, coordinado por las profesoras Diana Marcela Muñoz-Builes, de la Universidad de Antioquia y Eva Patricia Velásquez Upegui, de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, el cual contiene una presentación, en la que las coordinadoras exponen el creciente interés investigativo que este campo de la lingüística ha alcanzado en los últimos años, y los artículo, «Configuraciones nucleares de los enunciados aseverativos en el español de Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.
