The conflicts in the University of Antioquia: a historic and evaluative view about the students and the administration dispute 1970- 2006

This paper reveals theoretical advances make in the Investigation: “Los conflictos que se presentan entre la administración central y los estudiantes en la Universidad de Antioquia, en el período 1970-2006” under the methodological scope of a qualitative study, and a Hermeneuticalhistoric scope. This text involves the subjectivities and motivations of the conflict actors over the conflicts in the University of Antioquia, among the last four decades. This work analyzes four conflicts that corresponds to the 70’s 80’s 90’s & 00’s decades, conflicts witch denotes and represents conjunctural aspects, that de one or other form altered and marked ways in the academic life. It was in consequence: the conflict in 1973, where was murdered the student Fernando Barrientos and fire the administrative block, in June 8th of the same year. The conflict of 1987; the most traumatic in all academic of the University of Antioquia’s life, the university became in an epicenter of paramilitary. The period or the juncture of 1993 had signification because the expedition of the law 30 of 1992. Inspired by the fight between the paramilitary and the guerrilla for the territory in the academic life, was the conflict of 2006.
The paper stars from a description of the analysis categories and the descriptive for each subcategories, after that develops the analysis of the conflicts for category and for conflictive period, at last makes a general and conclusive interpretation.
