Evaluación de un modelo pedagógico de educación para la ciudadanía ambiental por expertos en educación ambiental

Resumen

Este artículo presenta la evaluación por expertos de un prototipo de Modelo Pedagógico de Educación para la Ciudadanía Ambiental para los cuatro primeros cursos escolares en Portugal (1er Ciclo de Educación Básica: alumnos entre 6 y 9 años). Esta evaluación forma parte de una investigación basada en diseño cuyo objetivo es el desarrollo de dicho modelo pedagógico. Un primer prototipo, desarrollado a partir de la revisión bibliográfica, fue sometido a una evaluación por parte de tres paneles de expertos de reconocido mérito en las áreas de Educación Ambiental, Educación Primaria y Líderes Comunitarios. Esta evaluación se realizó respondiendo a un cuestionario en línea (uno para cada grupo de expertos) destinado a recoger sugerencias para mejorar el primer prototipo. Según los expertos, el prototipo cumple los objetivos de una Educación para la Ciudadanía Ambiental, siendo un buen punto de partida para potenciar una conciencia ambiental temprana y un mayor contacto con la realidad ambiental. Sin embargo, y aunque implícitas en el prototipo evaluado, se introdujeron las competencias de toma de decisiones, resolución de problemas, comunicación y pensamiento crítico, tal y como sugirieron los expertos para poner de relieve estas competencias. También se introdujeron algunos cambios en las metodologías y etapas del prototipo para adaptarlas a los objetivos del estudio. Así, basándose en el análisis del contenido de las respuestas de los expertos y en la bibliografía pertinente, se construyó un segundo prototipo, que se presenta al final de este artículo.
