Abstract

The research project “The remeaning of the teachers training looked from social pedagogy”, case studies carried out in the Faculty of Education at the University of Antioquia in Medellin and the Normal School Genoveva Díaz in the Municipality of San Jerónimo, west of the Department of Antioquia; enabled both educational institutions to look themselves from the educational action research and leaders training, and transformative intellectuals to interact in different social contexts outside the school, accompanied by research-mediated teaching practices, in communion with social organizations (foundations, organizations, corporations, associations, among others), which are also concerned about education and resolution of their problems. Finally, there are some thoughts, suggestions and recommendations generated under the project to achieve this educational purpose.
