Abstract

La Universidad de Wisconsin - Madison, es la universidad principal del Sistema universitario del estado de Wisconsin, que consta de 26 instituciones esparcidas a lo largo y ancho del estado y, en total, tiene alrededor de 160.000 estudiantes. En Madison se matriculan 40.000 estudiantes en prácticamente todos los campos del saber. En esta Universidad están ocurriendo cosas muy interesantes desde el punto de vista de reformas organizacionales, no tanto desde el punto de vista físico, sino desde lo epístemológico. En esta oportunidad, nuestro grupo de estudiantes del club de Inglés, quiere contribuir con la divulgación de la que han dado en llamar “La iniciativa de Madison”, como una introducción a una estrategia que creemos que puede representar una esperanza de futuro para la universidad y por lo tanto merece un seguimiento crítico.
