A journey on foot: linear structures and field differentiation in the teaching of Geography

This article suggests new ways of teaching Geography, as a result of an analytical study of several teaching experiences at Universidad del Valle Geography Undergraduate Program.Based on some research projects proposed by the Program’s students, the course of Meléndez River is studied by identifying homogeneous segments of such course, with the intention of obtaining detailed descriptions, and consequently —as suggested by the basics of Geography— specific and differential proposalsof territory intervention
