The purpose of this text is to make a brief analysis that allows us to reflect on the proposal to simplify the behavior of citizens through propaganda, made by Edward Bernays. To recognize the theoretical horizons contributed by the aforementioned author, the elements to reinterpret the meaning, in this case, of the idea that the construction of certainties to walk the world, was identified as the device par excellence that capitalism should try to operate and materialize as an integrating totality of the sense of essential truth.
