Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the conceptual approaches that define climate change, seeking the contextualized interpretation of the effects of this phenomenon in the Chocó Biogeographical ecoregion, which contains valuable natural and cultural assets with a prominent presence of population with ethnic descent, which is based on collective territories of black and indigenous communities legally recognized by the Colombian state, a situation that claims rights for these population groups, including prior consultation, an aspect that is repeatedly violated by the companies and institutions that promote the projects extractivists that not only trigger the factors associated with the stimulation of climate change, but also disturb environmental, collective rights and human security, in addition to altering the economic and productive dynamics with an endogenous approach that ancestral communities develop.
