Las cimas de la desesperación en Mirando al final del alba de Arturo Alape

Resumen: Desde las reflexiones planteadas por Cioran en En las cimas de la desesperación sobre la condición desgarrada del hombre ante las preguntas fundamentales de la existencia, se aborda la novela Mirando al final del alba de Arturo Alape para mostrar la imposibilidad de restituir la unidad del mundo y la propia individualidad, porque ambas están rotas y sin asidero posible. El más allá está acá y sólo el arte es paliativo ante la contingencia de todo, es memoria ante el olvido irremediable.

Abstract: Based on the reflections posed by Cioran in his En las cimas de la desesperación about the barefaced condition of men facing the fundamental questions of the existence, Arturo Alape’s novel Mirando al Final del alba is used to show the impossibility to restore the unity of the world and the self individuality, because both are broken and handleless. The Beyond is located here, and only art is palliative against the contingency of everything. It is a memory against the inevitable forgetfulness.
