This study establishesthesignificant correlation between the dimensions of the Temperament and Theory of Mind (ToM) in school children between 4 and 5 years in Medellin. A cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 children was used. For temperament and character dimensions, Cloninger’s model, Svrakic & Przybeck (1993) were used. In the ToM, desires, beliefs and intentions were assessed. The results show high prevalence of moral criteria in boys that hinder their ability to mislead and lie during the evaluation. In girls, temperamental profile focused cooperation was observed, which marks a pattern reading mental states with emphasis on common goals.
