The importance of investigating on conciliation. The case of «Luis Fernando Vélez Vélez» conciliation center of the faculty of law and political sciences of the Antioquia University

From the theory, much has been written about conciliation, but about the subject; another thing is what exists from the practical, from research. On this last one, that is to say, respect it's practical application and research, barely there are numerical data, numbers ofthe agreements that have been obtained or not, which, at last, don 't say to much of what really interests or about the figure.
The present work exposes, on a summarized way, some developments and advances during the execution of the investigation "Resolution of conflicts: With regard of conciliation at the Conciliation Center ofthe Faculty ofLaw and Political Sciences ofthe University ofAntioquia". Therefore considers, one the first part, basically, the content of central elements referring to conciliation as an alternative method of resolution of conflicts, the object oftbe research and its purposes; at a second moment, is mentioned the methodologic process used in the research, or, the basic features that give shape and development to the purposes proposed; and finally, a quick view of what we will present in the final report and what has being found until now in this investigation.
