Actualidades Biológicas, is a peer-reviewed open access journal specialized in the publication of unpublished, high quality manuscripts resulting from research in biological sciences. The journal receives manuscripts throughout the year and publishes two online issues annually in June and December. Manuscripts must be registered in any of the following topics: Biotechnology; Genetics; Cellular biology; Molecular biology; Ecology of populations, communities and ecosystems; Systematics of biotic diversity.
The following types of material are published: full research articles, short communications (short research articles), reviews, essays, letters to the Editor, editorials, and book reviews.
