Resumen

INTRODUCCiÓN Los oxidantes celulares como las especies reactivas del oxígeno, se producen constantemente en los tejidos y células animales y son necesarias en un sin número de reacciones protectoras de la vida. Las sustancias oxidativas son fundamentales para procesos como la fagocitosis antimicrobial, las reacciones de detoxificación de xenobióticos y fármacos que lleva acabo el complejo citocromo P450 y la apoptosis mediante la cual se eliminan células cancerígenas.
