Resumen

This article presents a synthesis of three easy, unexpensive and reliable methods for evaluating body composition in children over 8 years of age. The validity of this methods in clinical practice has been corroborated in several researches made by the author and his colaborators. This methods will be useful in Colombia as an option to make fast evaluations of body composition in groups of children and adolescents.
