Abstract

On October 21 and 22, the Colloquium "Making sense" was held at the Externado de Colombia University in the city of Bogotá. The organization was in charge of the ACTI (Colombian Association of Translators and Interpreters), and had the support of the French Embassy and the Externado de Colombia University; It was inaugurated by Silvana Marchetti, vice president of the FIT (International Federation of Translators and Interpreters), and by Professor José Fernando Rubio, director of the History program at the Universidad Externado l de Colombia.

Juan Camilo Monsalve Vera, Universidad de Antioquia

Student of the English - French Spanish Translation program, member of the Research Group in Translation Studies at the University of Antioquia, led by Professor Martha Pulido. Coordinator of the Seedbed in Translation and Gender in conjunction with Jhonny Calle. Young researcher of the Research Group in Translation Studies under the mentorship of Professor Paula Montoya.
