Resumo

Existem diferentes tipos de metáforas, com diferentes propriedades gramaticais, conceituais e semânticas. Cada uma delas representa problemas específicos para o tradutor. O propósito deste artigo é chamar a atenção sobre estes diferentes tipos de metáforas e sobre suas propriedades, centrando-nos naqueles que poderiam representar um desafio para o tradutor.
