From an ethical perspective some aspects of health services are analyzed: efficiency, profitability, auditorship, costs, marketing and institution-patient relationship; in dealing with the topic several concepts are emphasized, namely: health is a rlght and a very personal possession, deeply linked to life and, as such, one of the most important human values; therefore, universal accessibility to health services In order to guarantee the wellbeing of patients ought to have precedence over purely economic considerations; solidarity should inspire every medical actor health service institution; an ethic framework is a must in creating and administering private or public health services.
