Author Biography

Carmen Expósito Castro, University of Granada

She has a degree in translation and interpretation from the University of Granada (Spain) and a doctorate in French-Spanish legal translation from the University of Córdoba (Spain). From 1992 to 2000, she was a freelance translator and interpreter and held a position in the Permanent Representation of Spain to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. In 2001, he worked in the Publications Office of the European Union (Luxembourg) within the Spanish correctional team of the DOUE. In 2002, back in Córdoba, she returned to work as a professional translator and interpreter, and since 2008 she has been a professor and researcher in the field of translation and interpreting at the University of Córdoba. In 2020, a novel by Jean Portante titled Mme Haroy ou la mémoire de la baleine published the translation from French into Spanish.
