Quelle employabilité ? Analyse du curriculum des diplômes de traduction et d’interpretation à l’Espagne

Résumé

Dans un contexte professionnel marqué par la volatilité, l’employabilité des diplômés universitaires est devenue un sujet très débattu, avec de multiples interprétations sur la mission des universités et les attentes des marchés. Dans ce contexte, les diplômes de traduction et d’interprétation en Espagne ont opté de plus en plus pour l’incorporation, dans leur curriculum, des stages et des cours axés sur le développement des compétences professionnelles. Cet article examine ces deux types de cours en profondeur par le biais d’une analyse thématique des guides pédagogiques des cours en question. A cette fin, nous avons proposé une analyse thématique des guides pédagogiques des matières susmentionnées, en analysant les éléments suivants : présence et représentativité dans les programmes ; nature et caractéristiques (caractère obligatoire ou facultatif, nombre de crédits, année d’enseignement) ; contenu et portée curriculaire (dans le cas des stages, type d’entreprise et nature du stage ; dans le cas des matières socioprofessionnelles, contenu abordé). Les résultats montrent que les deux cours sont assez répandus, bien qu’il s’agisse principalement de cours facultatifs. Les stages ont généralement lieu dans des écoles de langues et d’autres centres d’enseignement, ainsi que dans des agences de traduction et chez des traducteurs indépendants ou dans des organisations non gouvernementales et des organisations à but non lucratif. En ce qui concerne les cours axés sur l’employabilité, leur contenu est généralement dominé par les aspects déontologiques et éthiques de la traduction, l’analyse du marché et la préparation de budgets et de factures
