Este libro de 106 páginas, es el producto de un proyecto de investigación en el que participaron profesores y directivos de 27 universidades, con el patrocinio de Colciencias y Ascún, y tiene dos objetivos principales: el primero es “presentar una visión analítica general sobre los actuales problemas de gobierno y gobernabilidad de las universidades públicas colombianas. Otro objetivo es proponer diversos temas de investigación que contribuyan a la constitución de este campo de conocimiento como objeto de investigación sistemático en las universidades.”
(Pág.14). Digamos de una vez que el texto cumple cabalmente con estas dos promesas.
