Panorama de la terminologie

Cet article présente un aperçu général de la terminologie en tant que science et une vision particulière de la terminologie en Colombie. Nous exposerons, tout d'abord, les origines de la terminologie ainsi que des définitions proposées par quelques théoriciens dont l'influence reste vitale pour le progrès de cette science. Ensuite, nous soulignerons les approches terminologiques employées aujourd'hui. Finalement, nous traiterons l'importance de ce champ dans la recherche terminologique appliquée aux langues de spécialité et de la terminologie comme noyau du processus de communication spécialisée et de la traduction.
