This article gives an account of the collaborative work of two teachers of in the teacher education program at the School of Languages of the Universidad de Antioquia. They decided to include new information and communication technologies (ICT) in a contrastive grammar course. This was an attempt to improve their teaching practices and facilitate their students' learning process. The medium selected was the online learning platform MOODLE, which offers teachers and learners interactive tools that promote student-centred learning, based upon collaborative work and self-discovery strategies
