Avaliação de Pares e Interação Online: um Estudo de Caso

Resumo

O uso de tecnologias para a informação e a comunicação (TICs) no campo do ensino do inglês como língua estrangeira trouxe diferentes práticas e tipos de interação. A interação online permite que estudantes e docentes utilizem a língua estrangeira em ambientes externos à sala de aula e oferece a seus participantes mais tempo de contato com a língua. Este estudo de caso procurava entender como um grupo de doze estudantes da Universidade de La Sabana, que participaram em fóruns virtuais como parte de um requisito de uma de suas aulas de inglês, interagiram de maneira virtual oferecendo uma retroalimentação sobre os trabalhos escritos de seus colegas. Da mesma forma, procurava analisar como essa interação virtual acontecia nos fóruns. Os resultados sugerem que ao realizar processos de co-avaliação, os participantes geram consciência da relevância do processo de edição de escritos de seus colegas e revela a percepção que os estudantes têm em relação ao processo de avaliação.

Martha Isabel Espitia, Universidad de La Sabana

Martha Isabel Espitia holds an M.A. degree in Applied Linguistics from Universidad Distrital and an undergraduate degree from Pedagógica Nacional. She has previously worked at Universidad de La Salle and Universidad Sergio Arboleda and is currently working at Universidad de La Sabana. Her research interests include second language acquisition and literacy development, use of ICTs in EFL learning and teaching and the professional development of of language teachers. 

Carolina Cruz Corzo, Universidad de La Sabana

Carolina Cruz Corzo holds a BA in Modern Languages from Universidad Distrital, Bogotá, Colombia, a Specialist Degree in Applied Linguistics from Universidad la Gran Colombia, Bogota, Colombia, and a M.A. in TESOL from Greensboro College, North Carolina, U.S.A. She currently works as a full time teacher at Universidad de la Sabana.
