As redes sociais na aula: o surgimento de papéis para professores e novos enfoques para a criação de cursos

Resumo

As ferramentas web 2.0 em geral e as redes sociais em particular são usadas amplamente. No entanto, seu uso no ensino não tem sido estudado em profundidade. Este artigo apresenta os achados da implementação de uma rede social como apoio virtual para um curso presencial. Os achados mostram que a implementação da ferramenta tem efeitos em 5 áreas administrativas: (1) administração da logística do curso, (2) administração da informação e do conhecimento, (3) administração da comunicação, (4) administração do trabalho fora da aula, e, (5) administração da facilidade de acesso. As conclusões deste estudo mostram que a implementação da tecnologia na sala de aula implica novos papéis para os professores e a necessidade de usar novos enfoques para a projeção de cursos virtuais e de componentes virtuais.

Jorge Eduardo Pineda Hoyos, Universidad de Antioquia

Eduardo Pineda Hoyos is a full-time professor at the Language School of the University of Antioquia. Professor Pineda Hoyos has a degree in language teaching and a master's degree in teaching English. His academic interests focus on the relationship between language teaching and learning and technology, the effects of implementing technology on the professional performance of teachers, and the effects of technology on language teaching and learning.
