Entre lenguas, medios y culturas: el desafío de la traducción en tiempos de convergencia

Professor of Translation and Interpretation at the Department of Philosophy and Literature, Universidad de Córdoba. She heads the research group HUM 1108 TRADIES (Translation and Specialized Discourse) at Universidad de Córdoba and collaborates with research group on History of Scientific and Technical Translation in Spain —French into Spanish— (Histradcyt), at Universidad de Valencia. She is a member of the Language and Science Thematic Network and of the International Network for Research on Specialized Translation and Interpretating (RIITEI). She teaches in the M. A. on Specialized Translation at Universidad de Córdoba, and at the M. A. on Institutional Translation at Universidad de Alicante. She is chair of TRADITUR International Conference (Tourism Translation and Discourse), which is held at Universidad de Córdoba. She has been a director of numerous PhD dissertations on Legal and Institutional Translation, Human-Literary and Scientific-Technical translation. She is a regular collaborator with the Sorbonne and Université Paris Cité universities, and with the Institut of Management et de communication interculturels (ISIT), in Paris.
She has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals and publishing houses, and has been a guest editor to varios thematic issues.
Her lines of research are History of Science-Technical translation, paratextuality, and terminology of sanitary, agri-food, and industrial fields, such as jewelry.
