Evaluación de la capacitación de estrategias de lectura basadas en el modelo CALLA en contextos EFL y ESL

Este artículo ofrece algunas reflexiones surgidas del proyecto ''Aproximación a una didáctica de la traducción de textos científicos y técnicos''. El trabajo se desarrolló por medio de las siguientes etapas: búsqueda y recopilación de información curricular y de lecturas sobre traducción como sustento teórico de la propuesta didáctica; elaboración del Módulo para la enseñanza de la traducción de textos científicos y técnicos del inglés al español; diseño de una plantilla de portafolio de aprendizaje para evaluar sus talleres; pilotaje de dicho módulo, y desarrollo de estrategias de divulgación del proyecto realizado. El proyecto permitió evidenciar la escasa oferta de programas de traducción científica y técnica en Colombia; la falta de consenso en la conceptualización de los tipos de textos que conforman los lenguajes especializados y la necesidad de revisar la rígida estructura que, por lo general, siguen los manuales de traducción existentes. El Módulo que presentamos tiene aplicabilidad en diversos ámbitos de traducción, gracias a la universalidad del lenguaje científico y técnico, y a las características de su diseño. Sin embargo, es necesario continuar con el estudio de sus resultados en otros entornos, para profundizar más en la investigación sobre la didáctica de la traducción.
