Without leaving aside the linguistic aspect, this approach is primarily interested in the creative process that takes place during translation.

  In 1974, the Caro y Cuervo Institute published the bibliographic compilation by Héctor H. Orjuela Bibliografía del teatro colombiano. The book stands out as a very useful tool for theater researchers and translators. The researcher can search in alphabetical order and be surprised to find that Pombo, in addition to poems, also dabbled in the translation of Shakespeare, or that El gran Burundún-Burundá ha muerto is translated into English in a collection of short plays from South America, published by Standford University.

Ricardo Silva-Santisteban, who has edited and published the work of numerous Peruvian translators and is the author of a vast General Anthology of Translation in Peru, currently being published by the Ricardo Palma University, offers a comprehensive history of translation in Peru that has never before been attempted.
