*Teacher Autonomy: A Critical Review of the Research and Concept beyond Applied Linguistics

Resumen

En este artículo se revisan investigaciones conceptuales y empíricas sobre la autonomía del profesor, más allá de los límites de la lingüística aplicada. Esta revisión clarifi ca el signifi cado del concepto autonomía del profesor, esclarece los ámbitos en los que se ejerce la autonomía y explora algunos de los factores personales y contextuales que afectan este ejercicio.
