Íkala, Revue de Langage et Culture est une revue scientifique quadrimestrielle à comité de lecture, qui vise à fournir un forum académique pour un débat informé et respectueux sur des questions d'actualité liées au langage, à la linguistique, à la littérature, à la traduction et à l'enseignement-apprentissage des langues, entre autres. Depuis sa création en 1996, Íkala a publié des articles dans plusieurs langues, telles que l'anglais, l'espagnol, le français et le portugais, dans le but d'inclure une multiplicité de voix et de déchiffrer à travers elles ce qu'Íkala, dans son nom original en Tule, signifie « questions de la plus haute importance ».
